Stove Top Baked Beans Ingredients

* 1 1/2 cups kidney beans, cooked
or 1 (15-ounce) can
* 1 (15-ounce) can pork and beans
* 1 tablespoon cooking oil
* 1 large onion, chopped
* 1/2 cup catsup
* 3 tablespoons prepared mustard
* 4 tablespoons brown sugar

Stove Top Baked Beans Directions

1. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large saucepan and cook onion until tender, about 10 minutes.
2. Add catsup, brown sugar, mustard, and all the beans to the pan. Bring to a slow boil, stirring occasionally.
3. Remove from heat as soon as mixture begins to boil and serve immediately.
Goes good with pork chops and cornbread.
